BA–BF Falcon coilovers: height and damping adjustable coilovers for the Ford BA and BF Falcon, 2002 to 2008. Sedans can run the full set, the front pair or the rear pair. Utes and wagons take the front pair only: they have leaf springs at the rear, so there is no rear coil spring for a coilover to replace. XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8 and FPV models are built on the same BA–BF Falcon with the same suspension mounting, so they fit the same way by body style. Direct bolt-on, no modifications.
Will it fit?
- BA and BF sedan: full set, front pair or rear pair.
- BA and BF ute and wagon: front pair only (leaf-spring rear).
- XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8 and FPV: by body style, as above.
- Rear pair: the same part as the FG–FGX rear, also sold on its own as the BA–FGX rear coilovers.

Fitting them to a BA or BF
Each coilover goes where the factory shock was. At the rear it is a true coilover, so the separate factory rear spring comes out and stays out. The rear lower mount has a machined clearance that slides into the rear knuckle, so it only goes in one way. Get a wheel alignment after. Step by step: fitting coilovers to a BA or BF Falcon.
Which spring rate?
Standard suits street driving. 18 kg is stiffer, for track days, drifting and harder driving. 22 kg is the stiffest, for track use or very low static cars. More in the spring-rate guide. Front springs are also sold on their own: replacement front springs.

Yes. XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8 and FPV models are built on the same BA–BF Falcon, with the same suspension mounting, so they take the same coilovers. Choose by body style: sedans can run the full set, front pair or rear pair; utes and wagons take the front pair. If the suspension isn't factory or has already been modified, text 0449 887 291 first.
Can I run a full set on a ute or wagon?
No. BA–BF utes and wagons and FG–FGX utes run leaf springs at the back, so there is nothing for a rear coilover to replace. Order the front pair only.
How low can I go and still drive it daily?
The body is height adjustable, so you set the drop. The lower you go, the more a firmer front spring makes sense: 22 kg is the one for very low static cars that need extra front-end support. Get an alignment after any height change.
Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?
Yes. Any ride-height change moves your camber and toe. Get an alignment once the car has settled — usually after a week of driving.
