BA–BF Falcon control arms

Direct-replacement control arms for the BA and BF Falcon, 2002 to 2008, including XR6, XR6 Turbo and XR8. For worn ball joints and tired bushes when you don't need adjustable arms.

In the range: the front upper control arms (sold as a pair, the same arm as the AU), the front lower control arm (sold each, left or right) and the rear blade arms, also called the control blade or rear lower trailing arms (sold as a pair, sedans only). The blade arms come with polyurethane bushes and inner sleeves supplied. Each listing shows what's included, the bush type, the fitment as listed and OEM reference numbers where there are any.

Before you order: both front arms are listed "Not for RTV utes", and the blade arms don't fit utes or wagons. Get a wheel alignment after fitting new arms. Not sure which part is worn? Read ball joint or the whole arm?, check fitment by series and body style, or text 0449 887 291. Coilovers and springs for the same cars: all BA–BF Falcon parts.

Not sure what fits? Text 0449 887 291 or email sales@falcx.com.au with your series and body style.

BA–BF Falcon control arm questions

A quick text beats a return.

Which arms are listed for the BA–BF?

The front upper control arms (sold as a pair, also listed for the AU), the front lower control arm (sold each: choose left or right, and order one of each to do both sides) and the rear blade trailing arms (sold as a pair, also listed for FG and FGX sedans). Each listing shows the fitment as listed, what's included, the bush type and OEM reference numbers where there are any.

Do they fit utes, wagons and RTV utes?

The front lower control arm is listed for BA–BF sedans, wagons and utes, but not RTV utes. The front upper control arms are listed for the BA–BF and for AU wagons, utes and cab chassis, but not RTV utes, and BA–BF wagons and utes are not on their list: text 0449 887 291 before you order one for those. The rear blade arms are for sedans only, not utes or wagons.

Do they fit XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8 and FPV models?

Yes, when the arm is listed for your series and body style. XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8 and FPV models are the same BA–BF Falcon underneath, with the same suspension mounting.

Replace the ball joint or the whole arm?

If the ball joint is worn and the bushes in that arm are tired too, a complete arm is usually the quicker and simpler fix: unbolt the old arm, bolt the new one in. Our guide covers when to replace the joint and when to replace the arm.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. A new control arm changes where the wheel sits, so get the camber and toe set once the arms are in.

Do I need adjustable arms instead?

These are direct replacements for worn arms, for owners who want the car riding properly again and don't need adjustment. If your Falcon is lowered and you need to set camber or toe, see our adjustable arms (in development).
