Coilovers

EA–EL Falcon coilovers

Check your body style before you buy. Utes take the front pair only, and so do wagons where Ford built one. There is no FG or FGX wagon.

EA–EL Falcon questions

A quick text beats a return.

Is there a rear coilover kit for the EA to EL?

No. There's no FalcX rear kit for the EA, EB, ED, EF or EL Falcon. What we sell for these models is the front pair.

Does the front pair fit wagons and the XH ute?

Yes. The EA–AU front coilovers fit EA, EB, ED, EF and EL sedans and wagons and the XH ute alike. The same front pair fits the AU.

Which front spring rate should I pick?

Standard is the factory 12 kg front spring, and it suits street driving. 18 kg is stiffer, for track days, drifting and harder driving. 22 kg is the stiffest, for track use or very low static cars that need extra front-end support. If in doubt, Standard. The rear spring stays 10 kg and is not changeable. More on spring rates.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. Changing ride height changes camber and toe, and so does fitting new control arms. Set the height first, then get an alignment. The install page covers the order of jobs.
