Suspension for your
BA–BF Falcon

Suspension parts for the BA and BF Falcon, 2002 to 2008, including XR6, XR6 Turbo and XR8: height and damping adjustable coilovers, direct-replacement control arms and blade arms, and replacement front springs. Sedans can take a full coilover set, a front pair or a rear pair. Utes and wagons run leaf springs at the rear, so they take the front coilover pair only. All the arms on one page: BA–BF Falcon control arms.

BA–BF Falcon questions

Do XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8 and FPV models take the same parts?

Yes. They are trim and model grades built on the same BA–BF Falcon, with the same suspension mounting, so the coilovers and arms listed for the BA–BF and your body style fit them.

Can I fit a full coilover set to a BA–BF ute or wagon?

No. BA–BF utes and wagons run leaf springs at the rear, so there's no coil spring for a rear coilover to replace. They take the front pair only. More in what fits a Falcon ute.

Is the BA–BF rear coilover the same as the FG?

Yes. The same BA–FGX rear coilover fits BA, BF, FG and FGX sedans. It replaces the factory rear shock and the separate factory spring.

Which replacement arms fit a BA–BF?

The front upper control arms (pair, also listed for the AU), the front lower control arm (sold each, left or right) and the rear blade trailing arms (pair, sedans only). The front arms are not listed for RTV utes. See BA–BF Falcon control arms.

Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting?

Yes. Changing ride height changes camber and toe, and so does fitting new control arms. Set the height first, then get an alignment. The install page covers the order of jobs.
